John Merson: Project Co-Ordinator
John is a qualified Urban Practitioner. His main vision and role is in spearheading social and spiritual renewal through the work of the Lighthouse. John is a co-founder of the Lighthouse and has been involved in its development and expansion since it opened in 2003. Previously John worked offshore. He also spent 5 years in Sao Paulo working with street children and developing a prison ministry. He is a passionate fisherman.

Brian Boyd
Brian started volunteering in the Men’s Drop-In at Lighthouse after retiring from Grampian Police. Despite his previous employment he has been well accepted by all at the Lighthouse! He believes God prepared him to use that experience in the police to better serve those whom the Lighthouse supports. Brian also forms part of the Lighthouse Steering Group.

Eilidh Pearson : Senior Social Worker/Group Leader
Eilidh is a Social Worker and Group Leader. She joined the Lighthouse in February 2019 having previously worked as a Social Worker for Edinburgh City Council and Aberdeen City Council for 14 years.

Michael Cordiner
Michael has faithfully served in Lighthouse projects; the Men’s Drop-in and foodbank for many years.  Mike boasts 25 years’ experience in Sales management.

John Fyfe
John has been volunteering at the Lighthouse since 2014, involved with the Men’s Drop-in and Men’s Life group.  With many years of experience as a bank manger, John utilises his knowledge to assist Lighthouse service-users with debt relief and finance management.

Linda Merson : Administrator

Linda began offering admin support in 2019 and divides her time between the Lighthouse and DCF.
